An FCC Global Mission

As Christians, we are called to spread the Gospel of Christ, and First Christian Church is extending its mission to the Maasai people in Kenya. This is the first part of a new international ministry extension for FCC.

We currently have a church family that has been ministering to the Maasai since 2003 with CMF International (Lynn and Dori Cazier), and a discovery team of seven individuals went to Kenya in September 2010 to assess the needs with the following questions in mind:

What are the Maasai church leaders asking First Christian Church to accomplish?

How can First Christian Church come alongside Christian leaders from that culture?
 

Another team was sent in September 2011 to help with clean access to water, to build a chicken house to hold many chickens as financial funding for a school, and to lead a pastor's seminar.

We expect to send another team to Kenya in the Spring of 2012 with primarily a medical focus.
