womensministry

The mission of our Women’s Ministry is to help women relax from the daily grind, renew their relationship with God, and reconnect with the women of First Christian Church. Our events are designed to help us pull away—from noise, hurry, multitasking, and chaos—and grow closer to God through times of worship, teaching, laughter, and celebration. We welcome women of all ages and stages to participate in our events.

Here are a few things happening right now:

Wednesdays starting February 1, 2012 (8 weeks long)  |  10am-noon OR 6:30-8:15pm

James forces us to face the implications of faith. Be inspired to put your faith into action in practical ways as you get to know the man and the Book of James. Join Beth Moore as she explores such concepts as joy, hardship, faith, wisdom, single-mindedness, the tongue humility, prayer and more.

The format includes large group video teaching and small group discussion. Workbooks are available through Mosaic Café for $20.

Childcare is offered during the AM session with children's programming during the PM session. Children must be registered for the AM session only. There will be no childcare the evenings of February 22 and 29.

Weekly Devotions Tuesdays at 7am
Designed especially with working women in mind, this is a weekly fellowship option that enables women to be connected to a smaller group of women. This group's goal is to provide an opportunity for women to encourage each other, share and focus on a brief inspirational teaching from God's Word.
