We love our kids at First. We strive really hard to provide a loving, caring, and nurturing environment for our littlest ones. Our focus for this age group is to share God’s love through nurturing, playing, and encouraging. It is our goal that when they leave this area of their journey, they have heard the word Jesus so many times that it becomes a natural part of their language development. The safety of our kids is very important to us so please check out our Safety Policy before visiting for the first time. Now, on to the ministry stuff! Nursery & Sunday Childcare [ages birth to preschool | 5pm Saturdays and 9:20am & 10:50am Sundays (childcare only at 8am)] Here at First, we provide fully trained, background-checked, and tender-hearted staff to minister to our youngest worshippers. Our nursery areas are super bright and well-equipped. Once you're on campus, you can find the nursery area by simply following the hallway next to the auditorium to the end of the hall (you'll see lots of signs to help guide you!). Or, if you prefer, stop by the Information Center in the lobby... they'll be happy to help! We also offer a nursing mothers room located just outside the auditorium. Here, you'll find a quiet, private place to be with your child and still catch the service via a closed-circuit TV. Nice, huh? Sunday School [toddler through pre-k | 5pm Saturdays and 9:20am & 10:50am Sundays] Sunday School is an awesome time for our kids. The three-year-olds thru pre-k kids start off with a rockin' kid-friendly praise & worship experience and story time, and then break-up into age-specific groups for further ministry while the toddlers (those who are walking pretty well) and two-year-olds start off with activity time followed by a video based curriculum. Along with our fantastic leaders, we start pointing these precious lives towards knowing who Jesus is. Grow Together Wednesday Nights [birth through pre-k | 6:30p on Wednesdays during programming] After eating dinner, why don’t you drop off your kids with us? Kids two and under receive standard childcare, while children three through pre-k get a fun-filled video-based Bible lesson! Special Events From time to time, we’ll offer special services for children both inside and outside our church. During the summer months, for example, we’ll offer a Water Day. During the fall and spring, we provide childcare on Wednesday mornings for those mothers who are attending the women's ministry. Around Christmas time we have a tea party for the kids.
